“What hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye”
– Life of Pi Quotes
Finally… as I say goodbye to 2012 I also say goodbye to my good old friend Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. After being my company for awhile, it served its purpose well and I must say, it’s one of those phones that I will never forget. But old things must go in order to welcome something new, and something better.
Therefore… I welcome my new phone to my life. My new buddy, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 aka N7100. You were once just a dream and I thought it would take a long time before I could hold you in my hand. But now, I have you and I intend to keep you longer than your older sibling.
Be good to me and we’ll be perfect mobile partners. We can go places… and who knows this time I might not deprive you of capturing moments too, a functionality which I did not dwell upon during the time that I spent with my old buddy Note 1.

Home at last! I got stuck in the middle of nowhere for a few hours, after not having enough money for fare to go home. I know, it’s so silly of me to go out on a stormy day with no money in my pocket. Actually I had enough money, but certain circumstances made me decide to give it away. But i don’t wanna talk about it anymore
Thanks to my brother Ralf for always saving me in times like these. For that taxi ride, the Sr. Pedro roasted chicken for dinner. I’m also thankful for my mum’s yummy arroz caldo that made us all feel much comfier on a cold stormy weather.
Earlier this afternoon, my friend, who I treat like a brother, sent me a text message me about an appointment we made few weeks ago. I don’t have a habit of breaking promises, whatever happens. No bad weather can stop me from living by my word. Storm, rain or shine. I want my friends to know that I value promises and friendship. So, I decided to go out anyway, and finish what needs to be done.
They say every journey begins with a single step, and people were there to help me when it was my turn. Now it’s my time to pay it forward to a young friend and brother. I hope that this day will make a difference to his life, and I’m glad that I was there to witness that first baby step he made into becoming a healthier, fitter and better person.
I finally got my phone back, after lending it to my brother for a few months. He already bought his new Samsung Galaxy S3, another great phone. He likes a phone that’s not too big and not too small, just right for his needs. In fact, he loved his S2 before, only he lost it to the hands of evil and cruel people, who nearly hurt him. But it’s all in the past now, I’m just happy that he is safe a sound.
In my case, I prefer having a bigger mobile ph0ne just like my current one, although I’d love to have the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Unfortunately, I still can’t afford to get one as of the moment. Anyway, it could wait, since it’s something that I can live without. I still have the first version anyway, and it has just about the same functionality, just different design. Note II looks and feel slimmer but actually bigger, faster, has improved specs, and added features.

I’ll save up for it after taking care and resolving my current needs and issues which requires a lot of financial attention. Maybe by the 2nd or third quarter next year, I’ll see if I am capable of making that Note II fit my pocket.
For now, I’m loving and making use of my Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, which is almost a year old now. It wont be too bad to celebrate its first b-day first, before finally letting it slip away from my hands again. Samsung Galaxy Note II wait for me! or better yet, improve a lot while waiting, so I’ll have the best version of you.
